Fees

If you are aged 16-18 on 31 August 2017, a British or European Union resident and looking to study at Entry Level to Level 3, the tuition fees and any exam registration fees are FREE.

If you are aged 19+ all full-time Level 1 and Level 2 courses are now FREE for everyone, whatever their age. If you are looking to study a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to A-Level), courses are still FREE if you’re aged under 19 or 19-23 and studying your first full Level 3 qualification. If you’re aged over 23 or studying a second Level 3 qualification, you will need to pay a fee.

Don't know what your course fee is?
Use our fee calculator to find out what you'll need to pay... the link is located in the blue box at the bottom of every course page. First you'll need to use the course search to find the course you're interested in and then scroll down to the blue box (screenshot below).

Additional costs

For some of our study programmes, you may have to pay for certain things you need in order to successfully study your subject. These can include specialist textbooks, uniforms or equipment, as well as trips and visits that boost your understanding of your subject. You can find out if there are any additional costs for your study programme by selecting the 'Additional course costs' tab at the top of this page – and remember, financial support may be available to help with these costs.
