Travelling to College

Travelling to College

At Bedford College, we don’t want travel costs to be a barrier stopping you from coming to study with us. That’s why we are offering full-time students a travel bursary worth either £350 or £600.

Am I eligible?

The bursary is available to students studying a full-time course (Level 3 or below), as long as you...

  • live more than three miles (driving distance) from the campus you will be studying at
  • have a household income of £30,000 or less
  • are not eligible for financial support for travel from your Local Authority.

You will only be eligible for a bursary of £600 if you live outside of local bus routes to the College.
