Additional Learning Support

The Additional Learning Support team are not part of Student Services, but are there to provide support to help you make the most of your course. If you have difficulties with any aspects of your learning, then they would like to help.

If you have a specific learning difficulty or disability, problems with English and Maths, are deaf or hearing impaired, or missing the essential skills needed to complete your course, Additional Learning Support staff are on hand to give you assistance whenever you need it.

Their committed team can provide you with:

  • the skills you need to make your assignments fantastic
  • specialist equipment, adapted course material and other resources, including an Assistive Technology Centre which has specialist equipment and software
  • designed to make your learning experience as productive as possible
  • special exam arrangements if required
  • support with accessing the College
  • dyslexia, hearing and visual support specialists.
